About the Role
Seeking an Occupational Therapist to join a supportive aged care provider in the Cannington region.
As the site’s sole Aged Care Occupational Therapist, you’ll have the opportunity to make a real impact—helping residents maintain independence, function, and overall well-being within a collaborative and caring environment.
This part-time position offers flexibility in your schedule and a steady caseload within one residential facility that values teamwork, respect, and professional input.
What You’ll Do
- Conduct resident assessments and develop tailored therapy plans
- Deliver reablement, functional maintenance, and equipment prescription programs
- Support residents with strategies to enhance daily living and independence
- Provide manual handling advice and education to care staff
- Maintain high-quality clinical documentation and contribute to care planning
- Part-time position – flexible hours
- Work from one stable, supportive residential site
- Autonomy in your practice with backing from an experienced multidisciplinary team
- Immediate start and structured onboarding to help you settle in smoothly
- Competitive hourly rate up to $58/hour + Super, depending on experience
- Current AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist
- Recognised Occupational Therapy qualification (Australia)
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively within a team
